Initially, Mark will work closely with Mormet's Commercial Manager, Trevor Shakespeare, to ensure fast response to customer enquiries.

Mark has worked in the furnace industry for over 15 years, on both electric and gas heated plants. His other duties will include management of the site QA and Health & Safety together with the ongoing development of the Almor CAD capability.

Mormet welcomes Jez Higham .....

Following the recent acquisition of Mormet (Fabrications) Limited, ALMOR has appointed Jez Higham as Site Manager where he will work alongside Mormet's Commercial Manager, Trevor Shakespeare, to ensure the continuity of Mormet Fabrication's excellent service. 

Jez has many years experience working in the thermal processing industry, including a considerable time in the vacuum sales and service sector (Ipsen, Abar, Consarc, VFE and VAS).  The ALMOR vacuum furnaces service facility will be located at the Mormet site in Tipton and Jez will also act as the Vacuum Sales and Service Engineer.  Jez will work along side Steve Cannon (Sales and Service Manager) and our three vacuum service engineers to offer a comprehensive spares and maintenance service.

A major feature of the vacuum facility is to provide competitively priced hot-zone relines and repairs.  A comprehensive stock of hot-zone materials is on hand to enable emergency repairs to be dealt with promptly.  Hot-zone outer cages/cases are manufactured at Mormet prior to relining, thus ensuring full control of the manufacturing process.
